Laughing through the changes and accepting what life has for me after retirement. My elevator might be going down, but I plan to get off on every floor, even if it's just for plumbing supplies.

What the World Needs Now is Love, Sweet Love
Been very busy lately, but doing OK
An awe moment:
Doesn't that make you feel good?
I do hope they were trained and released to the wild (where they belong) later on.
Arleen- Guess what!!!!! You are the winner of of the cookbook in my latest contest!! Congrats girlfriend! Please send me a private email with your mailing address. I am so excited for you!
Oh Vicki, I am so excited. However, do I have to show pictures of what I cooked from the recipes in the cookbook. They might not be pretty. Maybe I can scan in something from a magazine though and pass it off as "the real thing."
Dear Arleen, That's a wonderful video. So tender. Thanks for sharing it. I do wonder if animals born and raised in captivity can ever return to the wild. They've lost their fear of humans and so might be more easily captured by poachers. I think that for some species the only way we can save them for the future is to raise them in captivity. But oh, at their deepest center, they must long for the wild.
My awe moment of the day - well night - and I am going to go to bed on this happy note. sandie

Hi Arlene, Oh so sweet. But, I too hope they grow up in their own world, not in captivity.
