I Got My Love to Keep Me Warm, or Is That a Hot Flash.

A day of romance and I am doing OK.

Forty-Four years ago I got myself a man.   He is now somewhat  paunchy around the middle and his feet maybe flat, but he still has that certain something. Not quite sure what that something is so I'll stick around a little longer to try to figure it out.

Oh yeah!!

Happy Valentine's Day.  There are no calories in chocolate today!

    1. Oh, that's a shame. The whole reason for the post was the picture. Imagine a paunchy man in a cape and underwear doing a little dance.

    1. Thank you Martie. I am going to eat chocolates, and that will make my day go well.

  3. Good heavens, for a minute there I thought Austan said paunchy and flatulent. While that may or may not be a fact, so good you and your sweetie have been together for so long. We'll keep our old farts eh?

    1. It is a fact Delores, but you knew that already. He really doesn't fit into that sweetie category in so many ways.

  5. Funny! Have a happy day.

By the way I love your header picture, very mysterious with those tree trunks glimmering in the dark.

  7. Dear Arleen,
I'm glad you found your man forty-four years ago and that you are still learning more about each other. And thank you for letting me know that calories in chocolate don't count today. I plan on eating a Snickers!

    Peace.

  8. I read this aloud to my husband, and we both laughed! I didn't show him the cartoon, though. He doesn't need to be reminded.
